Will alice be in the upcoming Resident Evil:afterlife film?

if you look up resident evil extinction on wiki. its saying that jill is returning sinnea plays her and chris will be in it and most of the characters from resident evil 5 will be in it. im not seeing claire nor alice so i need to know if they will be in it i'lll be mad if alice isnt in it. but 'ill still the movie.Will alice be in the upcoming Resident Evil:afterlife film?

Io9 had the chance to interview the director of the Resident Evil movies, Paul W.S. Anderson, and asked him about the fourth live-action movie that鈥檚 being planned right now.



Question: Are We Going To See An Army Of Alices?

Answer: We鈥檙e in very early discussions about all of it, so it鈥檚 not a definite thing by any means. Mila would like to return, and I would certainly like to see the franchise continue. Last year there were, I think, eight 鈥榯hreequels鈥?got released. Rush Hour 3, Pirates 3, Spider-Man 3鈥ut there was eight of them. Shrek 3. Six out of the eight, the third movie did worse business than the second movie. There were only two where the third movie did better than the second movie. That was Bourne Ultimatum and Resident Evil. So, you know, it is quite an achievement for a franchise to keep growing like that, and we all feel that the audience is excited to see another one clearly. We would like, if we could put it together, we would do it.



Question: Right, but hypothetically how would you go about using all of those Alices?

Answer: I鈥檓 not going to tell you that. [laughs]鈥?but we would.



Question: You would?

Answer: We would, yes. Absolutely.

The new resident evil is going to be a cg movie, there will be no Alice, however they are going to have a Claire Redfield, she is going to voiced by a different person. In Resident Evil: Extinction, however there was an Alice and a Claire Redfield. Alice was played by the usual Milla Jovovich, and Claire was played by Ali Larter, from the Heroes seriesWill alice be in the upcoming Resident Evil:afterlife film?
I'm guessing that Alice will be in the next film, as she is the main character, but I'm hoping that it will be more related to the actual game series, because so far they've pretty much threw the original story out the window. They need more creatures like hunters and they need to make Umbrella more sinister.
I think Alice will be there because like the last one ended she said she is coming for those people to kill them. And also they cant not have her and it will be the same actress, I think. Im not sure about the characters but Alice will be there.
